The study formulated six research questions, and adopted the entire population (85) as sample study using total enumerative sampling techniques. A survey method was used in undertaking the study, in which data collected from the study were analyzed using frequency tables and percentage. The study discovered that marketing is important to providing library products and services, library products and services are marketable as librarians’ perceptions of marketing library and information resources in university libraries, the study itemized the library and information resources marketed to include: In-House Publications, Audio Visual Materials, Serial Publications and Text Books, it was also discovered that library administration does not have a budget for marketing library resources and librarians do not understand the concept of marketing library resources are the major impediment to marketing library and information resources in university libraries. The survey research design with a questionnaire was used for data collection The study population was academic librarians in polytechnics and monotechnics from fifty - seven (57) academic libraries in Nigeria toalling two hundred and thirty - six (236). As a result, the study used total enumeration. The findings showed that most librarians had a high extent of locus of control and also exhibited a high level of motivation. Based on this the following recommendations were made polytechnics and monotechnics administrations should maintain the motivation of librarians in their institutions. Both the extrinsic and intrinsic motivation should be improved upon and made to spread across all designations. The research employed a total sampling technique to encompass all 111 academic librarians and library officers across the fifteen NUC-accredited privately owned universities in Oyo and Osun States, Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was administered via a Google form to collect primary data. Results indicate that library acquisition has become accreditation-centric, while fund allocation to the library is increased beyond the budgeted amount during accreditation visits. The hurried nature of the exercise hinders the involvement of all stakeholders in book selection, ultimately resulting in a loss of comprehensiveness in collection development. However, achieving this goal requires a deep understanding of the information needs and seeking behavior of different user groups within the institution. To address this, a study was conducted to investigate the information and information-seeking behavior of Engineering and Medicine &amp; Health Science (MHS) students at Afe Babalola University in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. The study utilized a descriptive survey design and selected a sample size of 200 students through simple random sampling. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire. The findings revealed that the information needs of both MHS and Engineering students are mainly academic-oriented, focusing on enriching knowledge (84.4%) and preparing for examinations (83.8%). A significant majority of respondents (91%) prefer to consult the Internet for information, while only a small percentage (6.5% and 4.4%) rely on the university library and librarians, respectively. The study identified procrastination (67.9%) and time constraints (62.2%) as the major challenges encountered by the students. In conclusion, the study emphasizes that students' information needs predominantly revolve around academic pursuits. However, it highlights a concerning trend where traditional library services are being overshadowed by the prevalence of online resources. The study adopted descriptive research of the survey type. The population for the study consisted 340 library personnel from six state university libraries in Southwest, Nigeria. Total enumeration approach was adopted to cover all the 340 library personnel in the study area. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were used to answer the research questions and test the stated hypotheses with the aid of statistical product and service solution (SPSS) version 20.0 at 0.05 level of significant. The findings indicated that respondents had a high level of job motivation and organisational citizenship behaviour. It also revealed that job motivation (r = .484; p&lt;0.05) has significant positive relationship with organisational citizenship behaviour of library personnel in the state universities in Southwest, Nigeria. The study concluded that a significant positive relationship between job motivation and OCB, with both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation playing important roles and that motivated employees are more likely to engage in OCB, which can benefit the organisation as a whole. Descriptive research method was adopted for this study. The sampling technique used for the study was total 104 enumerations of 104 faculty librarians. A total number of 104 copies of questionnaire were administered and returned, thus constituting 100% response rate. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire. The data collected were subjected to analysis, using descriptive statistics such as frequency to analyse the bio-data of the respondents. Frequencies and statistical mean (x) were used to answer the research questions. Hypothesis was tested using Pearson’s correlation coefficient statistics. The hypotheses were tested at 0.5 of significance. Findings revealed that government allocation, internally generated revenue and individual gifts are the major sources of funding for faculty libraries. This study shows that the level of sustainability of faculty libraries in universities in South-west, Nigeria is low. There is a significant relationship between funding and sustainability of faculty libraries in universities in South-west, Nigeria. How far the Scheme has been able to achieve its core mandate becomes a matter of concern. The study adopts descriptive research of the survey type. Sixty-one (61) library and information Science students in Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti and the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) participated in the study. Questionnaire was used to collect data using google form, while data were analysed using simple percentage, means and standard deviation. The findings of this study revealed that LIS students of EKSU and FUOYE had positive perception of SIWES programme. The study found that SIWES had positive impact on career development of LIS students in both EKSU and FUOYE, it also revealed that most of the activities undertaken during the period were related to their librarianship training. Non-payment of training allowance is the most prominent challenge confronting SIWES student while poor supervision is the least. The study discovered that Video Equipment And Multimedia Products And Computer Software, World Wide Web/Internet Services, E-Library and Online Public Access Catalogue, Operating Systems, Computer Hardware, Smartboards and Other Telecommunication Products (E.G. Uche eaumie@gmail.com <p>The study examined the learning outcome of PowerPoint presentation on students’ academic performance and retention compared to conventional method of chalk and board in technical drawing in three Polytechnics. Quasi-experimental design of pretest-posttest non-equivalent nonrandomized control group design was adopted. The population consists of 308 ND II technical drawing students of three Polytechnics in Kaduna State with a sample size of 205 students drawn by purposive sampling technique. Technical Drawing Achievement Test was used to elicit data on learning outcome<em>. </em>&nbsp;ANCOVA results of mean performance scores of the students taught technical drawing using PowerPoint presentation and those taught using Chalk and Talk indicated that the difference in the mean scores of the two groups is not statistically significant while the result of retentions scores of the students taught technical drawing using PowerPoint presentation and those taught using chalk and Talk found significant difference in the mean retention score in favour of the experimental group. &nbsp;Again, there is no significance difference in the mean academic performance scores of male and female students taught technical drawing using PowerPoint Presentation. with calculated p-values of 0.479 &gt; 0.05 alpha level. The study also revealed that there is no significant difference in the retention scores of male and female students taught technical drawing using PowerPoint Presentation. The results imply that the effect of PowerPoint presentation on retention is not gender bias. The instrument used for data collection was an adapted questionnaire. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were used to answer the research questions and test the stated hypotheses with the aid of statistical product and service solution (SPSS) version 20.0 at 0.05 level of significant.&nbsp; The findings indicated that respondents have a high level of job motivation since the overall weighted mean ????? = 2.80, std dev.= 0.89 and the finding reveals that leadership styles (r = .630; p&lt;0.05) has significant positive relationship with job motivation of library personnel in the state universities in Southwestern Nigeria. Job motivation fosters the attitudes of the employees, thereby making them engage in positive behaviours to work beyond their basic job duties. The study concludes that both job motivation and leadership styles significantly influence the attitude and behaviours of library personnel in Southwest state universities in Nigeria.
